Respond to the comments...

Hani thanks for your comments... To all that read this blog please comment, I don't take it personally and I don't really want to just post stuff without a challenge in the intellectual arena.

First comment about Sen. Kerry (and please Hani don't referee to him as JFK), I didn't know that Bush named Rice as a NSA before the election, according to your comment, everyone knew about her being a potential choice. I think that is different then having talks with more than one person about future cabinet positions, but I do see your point about garnering votes by that news and thanks for that insight.

Second comment voting, I agree and thanks again for your comments.

So please keep commenting and reading, I am really thankful that I have people that are where to share my random thoughts.

OBL's message

I was at work when I first heard about OBL's (Osma Bin Laden) video message. This is really sad, this guy is blame the US for 911 and he is just unbelievable. I cannot believe that this guy is serious. I just got done reading the transcripts of the video on Drudge. This guy is talking to the American public like he is running for office and he is up for election on Tuesday. He proceed to tell the American public to trust him and question our foreign policy with his standards. This guy is a joke. He said that there where already freedom in Afghanistan before the US went to war. This is really sad. I don't know what to say. According to OBL we are not safe in Kerry's or Bush's hands, we are alone safe in his hands. Please, give me a break this guy is full of crap. I am going to stop here because I am just................. Ill just shut up...

Excerpts from the speech:

You American people, my speech to you is the best way to avoid another conflict about the war and its reasons and results. I am telling you security is an important pillar of human life. And free people don't let go of their security contrary to Bush's claims that we hate freedom.

We want to regain the freedom of our Muslim nation as you spill our security, we spill your security.

I am so surprised by you. Although we are in the fourth year after the events of sept 11, Bush is still practicing distortion and misleading on you, and obscuring the main reasons and therefore the reasons are still existing to repeat what happened before. I will tell you the reasons behind theses incidents.

We agreed with Mohamed Atta, god bless him, to execute the whole operation in 20 minutes. Before Bush and his administration would pay attention and we never thought that the high commander of the US armies would leave 50 thousand of his citizens in both towers to face the horrors by themselves when they most needed him because it seemed to distract his attention from listening to the girl telling him about her goat butting was more important than paying attention to airplanes butting the towers which gave us three times the time to execute the operation thank god.

Your security is not in the hands of Kerry or Bush or Al Qaeda. Your security is in your hands. Each state that doenst mess with our security has automatically secured their security.

A race to watch for....

Since I live in California and I am a registered republican, we don't follow our Senate race. Its know that Sen. Boxer will win over Bill Johnson, I wish Mrs. Morrena was elected in the primaries, but I blame myself for that. But still one Senate race that is very important is the one in South Dakota. Sen. Tom Daschle and John Thune. This is an important race. Watch out Sen. Daschle 4 more days......

It has bee a while since I have been to BigPharaoh's blog, so when I read this post, I just could haven't posted it. Read it and thank God that there is another Egyptian that thinks like me...
Bush Just Cannot Lose
Russian President Putin recently said that if Bush lost then terrorists "will celebrate a victory over America and over the entire anti-terror coalition. In that case, this would give an additional impulse to international terrorists and to their activities, and could lead to the spread of terrorism to other parts of the world." He then went on to reiterate that he would respect "any choice by the American people."Now that is a direct endorsement of President Bush by the Russian leader. Putin is a very clever politician and there are many reasons why he wants Bush to win on November 2. However, there is a lot of truth in what he said.George W. Bush, without knowing or intending it, became the symbol of fighting terrorism around the world. The global fight against terror became associated with George W. Bush simply because he was the first to instigate it right after 911. Bush to the fight against terror is what Bill Gates is to Microsoft Corporation. They are both symbols of things they started. If Bush lost then all what America had done over the past 3 and half years will be in vain. The liberating war of Iraq will look as if it was all a huge fiasco and all those who sacrificed their lives to plant a decent country within the Middle East sacrificed it for nothing. How do I know that? I knew that by listening to how John Kerry heinously played with Iraq just to reach the White House. Mr. Kerry had a lot to play with: taxes, health care, gay rights, stem cell research, and even the Bush administration post war planning. Yet he chose to raise doubts about going to Iraq after watching the perceived mess there and seeing how Howard Dean capitalized on that during the primaries. There are no words to describe how Iraq is so crucial. America must win in Iraq just as it won in South Korea. Iraq is America's most important foreign enterprise ever since world war two and it is the region's most important "attempt to create something decent" ever since Napoleon invaded the shores of Egypt in 1798. This is the reason why terrorists are doing everything on top of God's earth to make Iraq fail.I would have swallowed John Kerry if he focused his attacks on legitimate targets such as the economy and the post war planning, but to attack the entire war (after voting for it!!!) shows what kind of politician he is. He is not Joe Lieberman and he is not John McCain. He doesn't know what is at stake in Iraq.Did the Bush administration commit terrible foreseeable mistakes after major combat ended? Yes. Do these mistakes provide enough reasons to remove Bush and place an ultra-liberal flip-flopping opportunist instead? The answer is a definite NO.I hope Americans see this truth when they enter the polling stations on November 2nd. I hope Americans will not let me down.
I'm sorry if I upset some Kerry supporters. I was just offering my opinion about something that does involve the region I live in. This blog was never about American politics and it will never be simply because I only spent 1 month in the US!!!

Kerry, Iraq and Bay of Pigs...What kinda of crap is he talking about...

This is by far the dumbest thing I have heard coming out of Kerry's mouth the past week. Why is he trying so hard to return people to the 60's and 70's and the era of the Vietnam War..... It is not helping you Senator... and it proves the Pres. point for how this war is warrented.

I tried to blog about the major news story that happened yesterday but I was out of luck. My computer and internet was acting up. You all or at least the people that are following the news... have hard about the weapons that have disappeared from a weapons dumb in Southern Iraq. Some election observers might call it an "October Surprise" read my blog about the twins. But still this story has so many holes, here are some:

1) New York times, do I need to say more.... I guess they have not learned from the Jason Blair case.

2) How on God's green earth can you lute 386 TONS of weapons without being picked up by anyone while the soldiers where guarding it.

3) I thought Iraq didn't have any weapons......

This is why Ohio is important.....

Update on a previous post

In my post titled, "Another reason not to listen to rap" last night about a rapper names Kris Parker and his thoughts about 911. Stephen Green of Vodkapundit has a very interesting question at the end of his post about this story. You got love it. Please tel me what you think......

In his own words...The truth on tape.....

I am always impressed when I see young people use there mind to look at politics. First, I have to thank Sorsar for finally giving me her LJ (Life Journal ) http and through that I found out about one of her friends. Which has this video on his site. This is a powerful video, and the most interesting part of it, is that it is all Kerry's sound bites. I don't know what to say except be very careful people what you wish for. I had a conversation with my brother this past week about if Kerry gets elected (God NO) if he will pull the troops out of Iraq. I said yes and Hani disagreed. I now don't know. I don't even think Kerry knows himself!!! Please watch this video and comment on it. A couple of things that I wrote down from the first time I watched it:

  • The interview with Chris Matthews of HardBall on 2/15/04, 1:30 min. into the video, Kerry goes on how if we gave Saddam more time that will not help at all but will give him more time to not be held accountable. Very interesting considering that he has been harping on the Pres. for not taking all the time for "the use of diplomacy".
  • The second one is an old interview he made with This Week on 2/22/98, 10:14 into the video, which he is asked whither Saddam needed to be confronted and he said yes and even if it means troops on the ground. Even George Will how is a great conservative asked him to make sure what he meant.
  • Consider that Kerry called this war:
    • The wrong war at the wrong time
    • Colossal mistake
If this is not Flip-flopping I don't know what is!!!!!!!!

Another reason not to listen to rap....

Apparently a rapper name KRS-one thinks that him being oppressed and I us the word oppressed very loosely qualifies him to express himself and show his solidarity with Al-Qaeda. This is really unbelievable, I understand the black community's frustration with the history and the mistakes that they went through, but this is another low. 911 is not about a race, its about a nation and freedom and that freedom is the reason that this rapper sells his crap. I cannot believe this... You read the rest of the story here.

Then KRS-One decided to clarify what he really meant. Here is his statement. Somebody should tell this idiot to shut up. This is what really pissed me of:

“I was just as saddened as everyone else on 9/11,” he continued. “However, for many of us that were racially profiled and harassed by the World’s Trade Center’s security and the police patrolling that area as well as the thousands of American protesters that spoke out against the World Trade Organization months before in Seattle, Washington there was a sense of justice, a sense of change, a wake up call watching the twin towers fall."

What kinda of crap is this Mr.
Kris Parker (which I think sounds much better than KRS-One). What kinda of justice that compares what happened in Seattle where a couple of people who broke the law and trashed down town Seattle to what happened on 911. Come on please don't tell that the reason that 911 happened is because Al-Quada is trying to sympathize with the cause of the protesters in Washington State. This is just unbelievable, Somebody wake up these people and tell them that oppression is when your entire tribe and or your ethic group is killed for just being Christian (Dafor,Sudan). Oppressed is when it takes your country over 75 years to recognize Christmas as a nationally holiday (Egypt). Somebody tell Mr. Parker that that's oppression not selling CD and wearing Bling Bling. Stop the madness.... Please.

The last presidential Debate....

I decided not to have a live commentary about this debate because I was really tired and I wanted to watch it as a voter not a commentator which I think is hard for some of my friends to think of
me as. It was a really interesting debate, here are some observations:

First: I want to let you know that I didn't like Bob Schieffer because he has proven tonight what I have been saying about the media for longest time. This guy set up the questions in a way that Kerry will produce policy and look good, but for Bush to be on the defense.

Second: thank the good Lord that Kerry don't over us the statement of "I have a plan" .

Third: I am beyond pissed at the Kerry/Edwards campaign using Cheney's daughter as an example of the Gay issue in American society.... Please advisors know that this low blow especially in this issue will not get your candied any points with rational thinking people and by the way that doesn't mean all the voters.

Fourth: On moral issues Bush won hands down. I think he was in touch with the majority of America and I loved his response about faith, public life and his wife and at least he didn't marry up like Kerry. Kerry never thanked his wife he mentioned his mom though.

Fifth: Problely the most important one, I am calling this debate for Bush. He won on style not on the issues which bugs me because you should be able to vote on the issues.

Here are what other said about the debate:

Germany might help!!! What??????

I guess the Dutch are getting a soft heart for Iraq.... Yeah right apparently they might help Iraq if the "the future of the US changes" Congrats Kerry another endorsement... This is just sad... I just don't get how the French and or the Dutch don't see the importance of Iraq..... I guess for the
French, they want the oil for food program back and for the German maybe Saddam's mustache reminded them of the old good times....

The VP Debate final Thought

I only saw the first 35 to 40 min. of the debate and I could not put my hand on what was wrong. I think Cheney was doing a great job but still I don't know how to explain it... Until I read Andrew Sullivan's blog entry and that is sadly exactly how I feel about the past two debates... Hopefully W could improve on Friday...

Here is what Mr. Sullivan said:

THE COST OF EXHAUSTION: From the beginning of the debate, it seemed to me that the contrast was fundamental. Let's start with superficials - because they do matter in debates. The only way to describe Cheney's performance was exhausted. He looks drained. And you can see why. One of the least understood and reported aspects of the current administration is simply the enormous strain of the past four years. They have endured some of the most testing times any modern president and vice-president have had to encounter. And you can see the strain and exhaustion in both the two principals. I'm not criticizing; in fact, I'm empathizing. But the result is obvious: when confronted with the major issues they have been dealing with day in day out, issues they know intimately and have worked on endlessly, their response is simply what Cheney himself kept saying: "Where do I start?" They have become so enmeshed in running a war that they have become almost unable to articulate its goals and process - and at times seem resentful that they even have to. There was a tone of exasperation in much of Cheney's wooden and often technical responses to political and moral questions. I can't explain the incoherence except fatigue and an awareness deep inside that they have indeed screwed up in some critical respects, that it's obvious to them as well as everyone else, and that they have lost the energy required to brazen their way through it. What I saw last night was a vice-president crumpling under the weight of onerous responsibility. My human response was to hope he'll get some rest. My political response was to wonder why he simply couldn't or wouldn't answer the fundamental questions in front of him in ways that were easy to understand and redolent of conviction.

The VP Debate...

Q to Cheney: New development in Iraq quoting Bremer about enough troops in Iraq and DOD no link..
A: Global war on terror, go after them, states and indiviauls. Saddam and the link to terrorist.

The VP Debate

Let the fun begin

The VP Debate go watch it...

In 15 min....

Vote and ill give you an underwear....

No seriously this is getting a little childish but still you got to love it... Michael Moore famous for movies like Bowling for Colombian & Fahrenheit 911 has decided to give underwears and other stuff to what he calls "slackers" if they vote.... This is just awesome, sir just sign your voter registration and vote, was it boxers or briefs? What is sadder is that the GOP party in Michigan want an investigation instead of offering another article of clothing... Because you know I vote based on who could provide me with a wardrobe!!!!

Tonight at 6 pm, I guess its a date...

Today is a special day. Its a day where we could see a daddy taking care of business. Yes a daddy and not just any daddy. A daddy that never raises his voice in a debate. A daddy that speaks from the right hand side of his mouth.... I am referring to the VP's debate tonight, once again I am not going to predict who's going to do will, but know this there will be live courage on this blog about it. So watch the debate and or read this blog for the most comprehensive courage of the race.

The usage of the word "daddy" comes from Andrew Sullivan's blog:

PREDICTING TONIGHT: Well, I could easily be wrong, but I have a feeling Cheney will crush Edwards tonight. The format is God's gift to Daddy. They'll both be seated at a table, immediately allowing Cheney to do his assured, paternal, man-of-the-world schtick that makes me roll on my back and ask to have my tummy scratched. (Yes, I do think that Cheney is way sexier than Edwards. Not that you asked or anything.) Every time I've heard Edwards talk about foreign policy, I've winced - not because he's some kind of U.N.-style liberal, but because he's obviously winging it, hasn't thought much about foreign policy, and seems miles away from thinking about anything like, er, strategy. Then again, Cheney's record so far in this war has been unencouraging. I'll be drinking a shot every time Edwards says Halliburton. And I'll be fascinated to see how and if Cheney grapples with his president's war on his own daughter's dignity. (Stay tuned later tonight. I'll be commenting for C-SPAN by phone from Philadelphia, and then doing my usual blog summary - and on TNR.)

Did Kerry Cheat...

In light the accusation that Kerry might have cheated in the first debate. I guess he parablely had this paper on the podium.
